Widget not visible
-
Hi there,
I installed Transposh today and dragged the widget into the “default sidebar” pane under Appearance -> Widgets, but when I load the website, I can’t see the widget at all.
I’m using WP 3.5 and the Annotum theme. I installed WP Super Cache and Transposh still said it couldn’t find a supported in-memory caching engine, so I’m not sure whether that has something to do with it.
I looked in the theme’s php files and I found “wp_head” and “wp_footer” mentioned in the Transposh FAQ ( href=”http://transposh.org/faq/comment-page-2/”>
under themes-related issues), so I don’t think it’s a theme-related issue but then again I don’t know much about the wp_head and wp_footer functions.
Any help would be great.
Cheers
Pat

Hello Pat,
I guess you need to clear your cache,
The in-memory caching has nothing to do with this (or supercache(
can you go directly to another language page?
Good luck
Thanks for the reply – this is probably an incredibly stoopid question, but is the cache I need to clear where the files for my website are saved, or is it the cache in my web browser on my computer?
Cheers
PatHi,
If you don’t know which cache to clear, you probably don’t have one 🙂
Please contact us via the contact us form on our site, and specify your url and access details.
Good luck
Thanks for your help, I just thought I;d let you know that after updating to the latest version of WordPress (3.5.1) and Transposh (0.9.1) the widget is showing up on my site and working well 🙂
Cheers
Pat
