After updating Jetpack to 1.8.1, I’m unable to authenticate with WP.com to view our stats.

Error message: You have failed to authenticate with the WordPress.com API.
How do you force a re-authentication or wipe it settings and start over?

Do you have the old WordPress.com Stats plugin installed?

If so, get rid of it.

If not, or after you get rid of it, deactivate and delete Jetpack, then reinstall it from the Dashboard. Then try to reconnect.

same problem now again with 2.2.5 update.. any solutions?
