Is it possible to hide or remove the number next to the track names that shows how many times it’s been played?

Yes, you can add this bit to the shortcode params="show_playcount=false".

You can find more options here: http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/widget

Further to this, I’d also like to be able to hide the track duration/length on the Soundcloud Mini Player.

Can’t find the shortcode anywhere – would hugely appreciate anyone who knows!
