[Plugin: Custom Post Background] Custom Background for Search Results Page

How do I go about getting a custom background to show up on a search results page. My search results page is based on search.php but isn’t a typical page created in WordPress. Therefore there’s no “Page” to edit in order to get to the Custom Background configuration box. Please help.
