[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Unhelpful Error Messages

    Hey Guys,

    I am trialing Register Plus Redux. I have tried both the latest version and am now trialing the development version but both report the same problem.

    Here is my registration page. Please feel free to try out:

    When registering with an invalid email address, a username which is already in use or the wrong captcha code I continue to get the same unhelpful error message. I don’t know where the conflict/bug is. Any help?

    ERROR: Hmm, either your Username or Password isn\\\\\\\’t correct. Try again.

    serpico, I’d like to try and isolate the conflict, but I need a little more information. What other plugins do you have installed?

    Sorry, I’ve been refactoring some code and working on WPMU, I’ll try to review this today.

    I’m guessing this is probably related to Ninety Ajax Login/Register, disable that plugin and see if the message still occurs.

    I’ve just disabled that plugin and tested again with the same results. I really don’t know where that error is coming from. I’ve searched for it in the source code of all my plugins but no luck.

    Got it! The conflict is with the ‘Private! WordPress Access Control Manager’ plugin. I have disabled that plugin. I believe there is a similar plugin which is pretty nice over at Code Canyon which can do the job of ‘Private! WordPress Access Control Manager’.
