• I am very happy with this plugin. Because the connect feature and previews are not generated on my website itself, my site remains fast and performs very well. It also looks clean, professional, and easy to use, while offering a lot of functionality.

I haven’t explored everything yet, but in my particular situation I would like to disable the add-to-cart button, since my frame options are selected through Advanced Product Fields and customers always need to choose their preferred version on the product page itself.

For me, the only drawback is that customers cannot immediately view the artwork on the wall with the frame option they have chosen. The standard frames that can be configured within the plugin do not match the frame options I offer, and each artwork has its own framing possibilities. My gallery thumbnails do show the artwork with the different frame options, but those cannot be selected within SeeOnWall. While it is possible to add additional sizes, it is not possible to include additional product images.

Despite this, I still gave the plugin five stars and upgraded to the paid version because the plugin itself is excellent. I completely understand that every situation is different and that it is impossible to accommodate every specific use case. Thank you!

Thank you for the kind review, and for upgrading!

About the Add to cart button: our Shopify app already does something similar, and because the core service supported it, I quickly added it to the WooCommerce plugin in version 2.7.0, which is already live. Update the plugin, then on the Button tab, under Product page, clear “Show Add to cart in the preview”. The preview then shows View product, which takes the shopper back to the product page, so they can choose their frame in Advanced Product Fields as usual.

About the frames: I have plans for an advanced frame visualization, but it may take me a few months before I start work on it, because other work is scheduled first: automatic layouts for several artworks, product sets that merchants define, and basic AR. The design of the frame feature lets merchants define their own frames, including frames that do not look like a simple colour gradient. I will try to include your case. I may still not support adding such a frame directly to the cart, but I hope the visualization itself will be possible.

In the meantime, I will try to come up with a “good enough” solution for your frames, and I will email you when it is ready.
