• Hi I’m getting Suspicious files for the EWWW Plugin.

I contacted the author and they said is because they are using binaries and it is ok.

I had selected them as approved many times and they keep coming back as Suspicious.

Can you please look into these and let me know if they are ok and if so how to stop them from being flagged after they’ve been approved?

    Thanks you

Here’s an example of one of the file paths:

    /home/*******.*********.com/********/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/binaries/cwebp-fbsd

    Hello @wynot,

Please send the files for us to analyze, and we will check them. Once the files are approved, they will no longer appear for you. The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/files-analysis

I tried to do that but get error message popup stating Binary files cannot be sent for analysis. Contact support.

    Hello @wynot ,
    Thank you for reaching out!

We checked the files for the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, and they are recognized as known plugin files in our main repository. These alerts typically happen right after a new plugin update (such as the recent v8.9.0 release).
Could you please run a new manual scan in the CleanTalk Security plugin settings and check if these files are still flagged as suspicious? If they continue to appear after a fresh scan.

Also, could you clarify when you previously approved them? According to our logs, the previous scans were on September 24 and October 14.

If the files continue to be flagged as suspicious after a new scan, please provide us with further details by submitting a request through our private Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

    Best regards,
