Unable to access website

    My website is broken. I cannot view it or access it through the WordPress login. This message was received:

    The site is hosted on BlueHost and has the following:

    WordPress version 7.0.6
    Active theme: Charity Hub (version 1.05)
    PHP version 8.5.11

    The Charity Hub theme from Envato is very old.

    I want to get to the site as it need major updating. Should I try to completely delete the site from Bluehost and start anew? Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.

    What is the correct domain for the website in question? The one mentioned in the email points to Webly and is not a WordPress site. The one you mentioned in your post doesn’t exist.

    If you have a WordPress website and are using a theme called Charity Hub (version 1.05), then its developer is likely Goodlayers. Envato is the platform where you purchased the license.

    So if you have a WordPress website using this theme in that old version and are also running PHP 8.5, my guess is that the theme is too old for that PHP version. In that case, you have three options:

    • Update the theme to the latest version. You can probably download it from your Envato account.
    • Or contact the support team for this commercial theme. You can find them here: https://themeforest.net/item/charity-hub-charity-nonprofit-fundraising-wp/7481543/support
    • Or switch to a different, more up-to-date theme – for example, the current default theme TwentyTwentyFive. Of course, you’ll need to make sure your content is displayed correctly.

    Contact the support team of Charity Hub. Or update the theme all together. If the theme is unmaintained,youll have to use a more recent version and maintained theme.
