Core emal sent not using SMTP
-
Hello, we use the YaySMTP feature to force all site generated and plugin generated emails to be passed over to our Sendgrid account. It was working great. However, a core email got sent from an auto-generated email of “wordpress@example.com,” it was subject line “[site name] Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue,” and the message was:
“Howdy!
WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Redirection…”
I understand the content of the message and am not inquiring about that, but I’m concerned that this email did not get passed to Sendgrid, nor does it appear in the site’s email log. Being that it’s a core generated wordpress feature, shouldn’t this have been sent to Sendgrid rather than sent by the website?
