    Hi,

It seems that after enabling Future actions in a post it’s impossible to select any categories. We normally replace the existing categories (News…) to “archive” after a certain time.

Now it says “No categories found” even though it’s possible select/remove categories for a post. As we have a low activity website it’s not clear if the problem existed before yesterdays update to version 4.10.5.

I can see that categories to be replaced are set for existing posts but they can’t be edited and it’s not clear in the replacement will happen at the set date.

I tried a rollback to 4.10.4 which didn’t solve the problem. A rollback to 4.10.3 didn’t work either.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

I ran more tests, not only could this plugin no longer find categories, it was also impossible to set a future publishing date.

After disabling the UAM plugin it looks like all is back to normal.

    Hi @on4bam ,

    Thanks for the details.

Glad to hear it’s working again! That confirms it was a conflict with the User Access Manager plugin rather than an issue in PublishPress Future, which is why the version rollbacks didn’t help. UAM likely restricts REST API access, which both the category loader and the WordPress date picker rely on. If you need UAM enabled, it’s worth checking its settings for any option that limits REST API or category access, and we’re happy to take a look if it comes back.
