    I tried to install SMUSH and got an error saying “the directory already exists”. It is probably years old, How can I find that directorry (i.e. where is it located) and delete it so I can to a fresh install of SMUSH?

    Hi @pdliles,

    You should find the “wp-smushit” folder inside the /wp-content/plugins/ path in your Server. You’ll have to use File Manager, SFTP, SSH etc to access the server.

    Such error occurs when there plugin wasn’t uinstalled correctly or got corrupted which causes stray files/folder to be present and cause the error.

    Once you delete the folder as suggested above, you should be able to install the plugin.
