Thousands separator “Space” is saved as “none()”

Hello,

We are using the latest version of Donation Thermometer on a French-language WordPress website.

We need to use a space as the Thousands separator, so that amounts are displayed using the French format. For example:

3 219 604 $

However, there seems to be an issue with the Thousands separator setting.

When we select Space in the Thousands separator field and save the settings, it is automatically changed to “none()”.

As a result, the thousands separator is not displayed correctly on the front end. For example, the amount is displayed as:

3219604 $

We also tried using the shortcode option [thermometer sep=' '], but this simply removes the separator instead of displaying a space.

Could you please let us know if this is a known issue with the latest version and if there is a workaround or a fix planned?
