Failed Back-Up Attempts

    Hi there,

    I have tried multiple times over the last month to back-up my site, but I keep getting his error message: UpdraftPlus WordPress backup is complete.
    Backup contains: Files and database (Full backup)
    Latest status: The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully

    I tried to use Pastebin to post the log.txt, but it’s not working for me. Maybe because it’s such a large file?? Any suggestions?

    I was able to access it, thank you.

    You have an exceptionally large number of “Uploads” files

    You have a http code: 404. This happens when your server’s PHP settings time out and the upload connection is severed.

    Can you try adding the following to your wp-config to increase the memory limit.

    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);

    Hi again,

    I changed to code on wp-config and tried to back-up again. Kept going for quite a white but now it shows as NOT FINISHED and nothing is happening.

    Here’s the latest log:

    I know it’s trying to prune sets, but I had to delete a lot of files from the Drive to make room for repeated attempts to back-up. So I know I’m getting some error messages about that. Can you take another look for me please?

    Hi,

    You are still getting the same error. However, this log does look a lot better (the process halts during the pruning of the backup which right at the end).

    Can you post your php error logs ?(these are normally in the root of your site).

    Would be willing to temporarily install a debug plugin such as this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/debug-log-manager/ (this one if my favourite but there are others!)

    Once you have activated the debugging, can you then run a backup and look for any fatal errors and let me know what they are.

    You can remove the plugin again afterwards if you would like to.

    Hostinger said that they had activated several debugging options, I think in my wp-config.php file. Today I have had to change WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY back to false as WPForms appeared to be creating PHP Notifications displayed across the top of my website due to some pending tasks.

    Exactly what Hostinger did to clear my issue with updraftPlus not running is unclear …they said they had only switched on debugging. So I said to them it appears to have fixed itself then? and Hostinger said ‘yes’!!! …so I’m not sure I can help send you any errors as it now appears to be working …correct me if I’m wrong (newbie)
