    Hi there, @pnbgibbs

Thanks for getting in touch, and for including those error messages, that’s really helpful!

If I understand correctly, you’re unable to edit your pages while Jetpack is active, and everything starts working again as soon as you deactivate Jetpack. Is that right?

I can see that Jetpack isn’t working correctly at all, due to an issue happening at your sever’s end. I see an error 503 which indicates some memory or similar problems that your host can address for you.

I’d recommend reporting this to your host, and verify that Jetpack is well connected. If you still have the same problem after this, could you please try the following?

    • Clear any caching or performance optimisation you have enabled, including anything provided directly by Fasthosts.
    • Temporarily deactivate your other plugins, leaving only Jetpack active, and check whether you can edit a page again.
    • If the problem continues with only Jetpack active, temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme and test once more.

If the editor works with Jetpack and the other plugins disabled, you can reactivate the plugins one at a time until the problem comes back. That should help us identify which one is conflicting with Jetpack.

If it still happens with only Jetpack active, please let me know. If you can also tell us which browser you’re using and whether the same thing happens in another browser or a private/incognito window, that will help us narrow things down further.

I know that’s a few things to check, but the fact that several Jetpack editor features are failing together gives us a good place to start. Let us know what you find and we’ll take it from there!

    Hello @pnbgibbs,

Do you have updates about the above? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
