Bring back FTP Migrations

    Guys, I’m using this plugin only for exact domain to domain migrations domain.com > domain.com not A.com to B.com so I can’t install and get migration keys from both sites. I need the FTP migration method you had initailly. Please bring it back! Even in the older versions that I was using it it not working anymore.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    We have removed support for FTP-based migrations. Migrate Guru currently supports migrations using the Migration Key method, which requires the plugin to be installed and connected on both the source and destination WordPress sites. Both sites also need to be accessible online during the migration.

    For a migration where you are moving to a new server while keeping the same domain name (for example, domain.com → domain.com). You can set up the destination site using a temporary URL or staging URL on your new hosting provider.

    Once both installations are accessible, install and connect Migrate Guru on both sites and complete the migration using the Migration Key. After verifying that the migrated site is working correctly on the new server, you can update the DNS records to point the domain to the new server.

    Please note that Migrate Guru migrates WordPress-related data such as the database, themes, plugins, uploads, settings, and WordPress users. It does not migrate email accounts, email data, or other server-level files outside WordPress.
