I have since 4 august problems with saving a pages , sometimes saving a page hangs or most of the time save page signal stays on . By disabling this plugin the problem disappeared . I have tested all kind of combinations but the result is that only deactivating this plugin stops the problem.

I have applied Rollback to many versions back but this did not solve the problem> This problems occurs on many of my websites. I have tested this extensively on a website installed in local on my computer. My conclusion is that is not website related. Regards, Wim Bax
Yes , I use Elementor and thanks to the warnings you plugin displayed I made the correct settings in Elementor. A big obstacle is that it is extremely difficult to investigate , I tested it on around 6 websites live and installed in local on my computer. The most severe problem was that save page did hang and I had to close the website completely and login again. But as I said not very reproducable, but there is a problem. I keep on checking this , I did not do a rollback on WordPress. Regards Wim Bax
I know all the tricks to apply , test in different browsers , test in incognito mode. Deactivate plugins, change themes , check systematically but as I said it is not consistent behaviour nor on live website with different webhost companies and on local. That is the frustation. So keep this ticket open , I made it to alert you that something strange is occurring. My observation in general is that since update to WordPress 7.0 and higher I have more problems than ever before. All my plugins and themes are up to date. Regards Wim Bax
The first screenshot is with plugin activated that after several times using OPSLAAN ( SAVE or Publish) it leads to that the website hangs and can only be terminated by closing the browser. This happens now in my view after the introduction of WP 7.0 and higher consistently over many of my websites that are already operating around 7 years without problems. By deactivating the plugin saves and publish worked fine and hanging or locking of my websites occurred. Regards Wim Bax

No , I did not check the errorlog because this problem occurs on all my 15 websites I have. I have nearly checked all these websites with all kind of combinations themes, plugins. I found that with the themes Weaver Xtreme and Divi that deactivating all plugins did solve the problem. In this investigation of more than 10 hours I found that the classic editor plugin im many cases was the main reason for hanging and WP Fastest Cache then worked Fine, Interesting changing DIVI to Astra and deactivating the classic editor plugin I could activate WP Fastest Cache again this does not work on every website. I found this by searching on the internet: • The API gets confused: When the Classic Editor is active, WordPress tries to send data the old way, while the server, which has been updated to WP 7.0+ standards, expects this to happen through the new API routes. As a result, the page keeps loading indefinitely or remains stuck on “Saving…”
I keep you informed what I find . By using F12 I found an enormous amount of warnings about the editor related to iframe even with all the plugins updated. Regard Wim Bax
