Incorrect OG image when sharing.

    Hello,

    I’m having an unusual issue with Facebook sharing.

    When the post is shared, the system selects a random cover image (I believe it picks the first one available). However, if I manually click on the post and select “Refresh Preview,” it corrects itself, and the preview appears correctly when using the Facebook sharing tool.

    I am using the All In One SEO plugin.
    I have tried disabling the plugin, modifying the “Apply OG tags for Facebook” setting, and enabling cache clearing…

    What could be causing this?

    There are a few reasons why the images of your link previews might not appear as expected on Facebook. Usually, this is caused by missing or conflicting metadata (specifically Open Graph tags) within your website’s source code. In some cases, firewalls or security plugins may also block Facebook from fetching your content.
    Please keep in mind that Blog2Social just shares your link to Facebook. Once shared, Facebook is responsible for pulling the preview data directly from your website’s source code.

    Facebook relies on “og:image” and “og:description” tags to build link previews. Follow these best practices to ensure proper display:
    -Ensure security plugins aren’t blocking Facebook’s crawler from accessing your website.
    -Use a single SEO plugin to avoid conflicting tags. Please note: if you change the image in Blog2Social, but use a different plugin to generate your Open Graph tags, your changes in Blog2Social will most likely have no effect.
    -Verify that your images meet Facebook’s recommended size and format guidelines so they load properly.
