product_type_type wrong attribute in Google Feed and missing main image
-
Here is a sample item from a Merchants feed of my site:
<item>
<g:id>69971</g:id>
<g:title>XPRO edzett üvegfólia iPad 10,2" (7.-8.-9. gen.)</g:title>
<g:link>
https://appsolute.hu/termek/xpro-edzett-uvegfolia-ipad-102-7-8-9-gen-2/?utm_source=Google%20Shopping&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=adtribes
</g:link>
<g:checkout_link_template>https://appsolute.hu/bolt/kosar/?add-to-cart=69971</g:checkout_link_template>
<g:availability>backorder</g:availability>
<g:availability_date>backorder</g:availability_date>
<g:price>HUF 0.00</g:price>
<g:google_product_category>5468</g:google_product_category>
<g:product_type>
Home > Védőfóliák > iPad fólia > Védőfólia kijelzőre
</g:product_type>
<g:brand>XPRO</g:brand>
<g:condition>new</g:condition>
<g:custom_label_0>simple</g:custom_label_0>
<g:product_type_type>simple</g:product_type_type>
<g:custom_label_1>Védőfóliák||iPad fólia||Védőfólia kijelzőre</g:custom_label_1>
<g:identifier_exists>no</g:identifier_exists>
</item>As you can see the product_type_type is wrong definition (I used the built-in option).
Also if I select Main image as the image_link it renders the placeholder image in every product so the feed would become useless. I use the Additional image 1 as the temporary solution but this is bad solution because if there is no product gallery in one product it doesn’t add anything into the image_link attribute.
