Hi,
Thank you for your message.
We completely understand your frustration and the impact that this issue can have on your activity.
For more context, the WonderPush scripts load via the Brevo Tracker, which has a push/pop-up component enabled by default, independently of whether Web Push was ever activated in the plugin. Simply disabling push at the plugin level is not enough, and there’s a second step most users miss.
Here’s the two-step fix that stops the scripts from loading entirely:
Step 1 — In WordPress: Go to WordPress Admin -> Brevo -> Web Push and click “Turn off web push” (only needed if push was ever enabled on any of your sites).
Step 2 — In your Brevo account (required in all cases): Go to https://app.brevo.com/push-settings/advanced-settings -> under Brevo Tracker Integration, toggle OFF the option “Include push notification and pop-up support in the Brevo tracker (load wonderpush.min.js)” -> click Save.
Once both steps are done, clear the cache on each of your sites (including any caching plugins like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, etc.) to make sure the scripts are fully removed. Please note: this disables the push/pop-up component only, it does not remove the Brevo tracker itself.
Regarding a permanent fix at plugin level: this is being tracked by our engineering team. We don’t have a confirmed release date to share at this point. Let me know if the scripts are still loading on any of your three sites after completing both steps and clearing the cache.
If the issue stills persists after those recommendations, and to ensure this issue is properly investigated and escalated to our WonderPush technical team with the right priority, I’d like to ask you to create a support ticket directly from your Brevo account. Here is how:
- Log in to your Brevo account
- Click on the “?” icon or navigate to the Help & Support section
- Select Contact Support and submit your request there
This will allow our specialized team to:
- Investigate why the WonderPush scripts continue to load when the service is disabled
- Assign a proper tracking reference to your case
- Provide you with a concrete timeline for a fix
Do you hesitate to reach out to us again if needed, we will gladly help !

Hello, and thank you for your answer.
In my humble opinion, I gave enough time to investigate the issue (even starting a vanilla WP), and posting this support request to inform your team.
If you can’t reach the dedicated team to inform them why the issue is important, and point them the obvious that they will just see if they look, I will not take the time to do it for you, i’m sorry, my work is done here.
Regards.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply, and you are right to push back on this.
You already provided enough information to show that this is not just a local configuration issue, especially since you reproduced it on a clean WordPress setup with only the Brevo plugin active.
We should not have put the burden back on you to open another ticket just to make the issue visible internally. I’m sorry for that.
The behavior you described is not expected: WonderPush-related scripts should not keep loading when push notification support is disabled. This has now been raised internally as a plugin issue for technical review.
I don’t want to give you an inaccurate ETA before a fix is confirmed, but your report is clear and actionable, and we will use it as part of the internal investigation.
Thank you again for taking the time to document and reproduce the issue.
