    Hello,

Hopefully, this message finds you well.

Thank you very much for this great plugin. Unfortunately, it is incompatible with All-in-One Security (AIOS). When it is active, MainWP cannot connect to my website.

Could you please advise me which settings of AIOS should be disabled?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey @denizci88

These are the likeliest security plugin settings that might interfere with the connection, so please see if they are enabled and try deactivating them temporarily to identify the cause:

    1. Cookie based brute force prevention
    2. Firewall allow list / Login whitelist
    3. HTTP Authentication
    4. Blacklists and lockouts
    5. Visitor/Site lockout

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I deactived them, but the issue is still in progress.

    Maybe we should accept “incompatibility”

    Thank you again.

    Hey @denizci88

We were unable to reproduce the issue with AIOS with those settings disabled.

Can you establish a connection when you deactivate AIOS plugin?

Also, please feel free to open a private Help Desk ticket and we will gladly look into this: https://mainwp.com/my-account/get-support/

We have an internal tool that lets us see the response message from the Child site. Usually, it helps identify which security rule is blocking the connection.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

I have just registered to MainWP and submitted a ticket.

Thank you again for your help.

    Best regards

Thanks for opening the Help Desk ticket.

We were able to confirm that this was not a general incompatibility between MainWP Child and AIOS. The MainWP Dashboard server IP addre

ss had been added to the AIOS Permanent block list. After removing that IP from AIOS → Dashboard → Permanent block list, the site reconnected immediately.

For anyone else running into a similar issue with AIOS, please check:

    • AIOS → Dashboard → Permanent block list
    • AIOS → Dashboard → Locked IP addresses
    • AIOS → Firewall → Block & allow lists

Even if the Dashboard IP is allowlisted, the Permanent block list can still prevent the connection.

    I’ll mark this as resolved.
