• I have several sites connected to the same Jetpack/wordpress.com account. 2 of them have the same 2 Facebook pages configured for automatic social sharing. One of these works, and the other one doesn’t.

Is this setup supposed to work?

If not, what can I do? The sites belong to the same organisation and sharing on the organisation’s pages makes sense.

How can I process the backlog, i.e. share the posts manually, from within WordPress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there, @galbaras,

In principle, this setup you mentioned is supported, so I’d like to investigate why one site behaves differently from the other.

    Could you let me know:

    • What happens when a post is published on the site that isn’t sharing? Do you see any error messages in Jetpack → Social or in the post editor?
    • Are the Facebook Page connections shown as active on both sites?
    • Approximately when did the sharing stop working?
    • Could you share the URLs of the working and non-working sites? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

Regarding previously published posts, Jetpack Social does not automatically process a backlog of posts that failed to share. However, you can usually reshare individual posts from within WordPress using the Social tools available on the post, depending on your plan and setup.

Once I have a bit more information about the two sites and any errors you’re seeing, I should be able to point you in the right direction. Speak soon!
