Obviously that URL I need help with is in fact two URLs.
Thanks for reaching out @timanddog, and sorry to hear of your experience with the incorrect location assigned to you. While we’re limited to Site Kit specifics here in the plugin support forums, you can use the AdSense Help Center to reach out to the community or find out more in relation to this. The “Contact us” section from there will specifically will allow you to direct your query to the right team.
Best of luck, and I do hope you’re able to get your location updated.
Unfortunately that contact section is about as useful as a lifeguard at an olympic swimming race and no one has answered me in months, neither in the so-called Google Products Experts Forum can help either, even if someone tags the relevant people, they totally ignore it. I’ve even tried setting up two new AdSense accounts only for it to fall over again as my phone number is tied to another account.
I thought this maybe another means of getting some much needed help but obviously not…….it’s been nothing but frustrating to get such an easy resolution as changing my country (that I can’t change myself, as even though the option is there, it is greyed out so I can’t change it).
On every other single Google platform I am in Italy (even my phone number is) – why AdSense has to be different is beyond me.
I’ll have to find another platform to show ads for shortly, as I have AI agents building some 300 odd pages a day.
Sorry to hear you didn’t receive any assistance from the official Help Center, or from using the contact form. Unfortunately we can only assist with Site Kit specific queries, and if I could I would certainly assist you on this. I did perform some checks on this, and it looks like rather than changing your address, you can only close your existing AdSense account and open a new one set to your current location. This is an AdSense policy, so it may not be possible to change your existing account.
Sorry I can’t be of more assistance, but I do hope that you can switch your account. Best of luck regardless.
I have had to delete my original Google Gmail account of the last 30 or so years since Google launched which was a bit “gutting” to say the least after a lifetime in the web and SEO. Not to mention years and years of contacts now unable to contact me.
Maybe I can somehow recapture it.
But at least my site is now awaiting AdSense review……next they’ll knock me back for having 33,000 similar lead pages no doubt……
@timanddog We are sorry to hear that. Good to hear that you are now awaiting your AdSense review and hopefully it is approved soon.
In the meantime if you have any Site Kit issues, we will be happy to help with those.
No, SiteKit, Analytics and GSC are all working fine. AdSense’s complete uncontactability was the issue.
Now I’ve just the problems with informing everyone and reregistering all my banks, post offices, stock portfolio accounts etc etc etc etc with another email provider so I don’t make the same mistake again, rather making Gmail accounts disposable and rather expendable.
After a professional IT lifetime of supporting Google since token ring and before Larry and Sergy’s “advent”, I was probably unwise to rely so heavily on it. I’ve even got CNE certificates with Google’s old CEOs signature on (ex Novell too). Guess Gmail has served me well across the 28 years or so, until this hiccup. But at least now, I have virgin inbox and empty Google Drive too. Seems my Android phone is keeping the old Gmail address alive and wasting your diskspace for that alone, but the last thing I need to do is lose all my phone numbers and passwords too. Lesson learned and paying attention closely to the same happening with Microsoft, Edge, Outlook and their OneDrive etc.
Seem EspoCRM and Nextcloud Hub running in a CDN’ed countainer is the only place my data is safe and under my control, these days…..just need a few months to migrate it all there. Or the bits I need anyway.
Have a great day!
