Was is a coincidence that 10+ of my client websites were infected with malware? !
Around the same timeframe this was rolled out, I dealt with malware/security issues across 10+ client WordPress sites. I’m still investigating and not claiming they’re related, but the timing has my attention.
As someone who manages websites for clients, I don’t want AI tools, plugins, or new functionality automatically installed on production websites. That should be an opt-in decision, not something enabled by default.
Curious if anyone else experienced security issues, unexpected changes, or plugin installations around the same time.
