• Since the update 2.5 I have a big problem with dissapearing orders. I made a code with chat gpt to fix the problem, but now with 3.0 the problem was that I could not sign in the admin app so I dicided to do the update with all problems followed. More orders are gone again, so if this will not be solved I will quit with FE. I dont understand how it is possible that nobody is complaining about this BIG Bug!!!

Without any context, it is virtually impossible for us to assist you further. To effectively resolve a bug, it is necessary to provide a reproducible test case so that we can identify any error.

Then there is the second point regarding the code you modified with ChatGPT. The same applies here: how can this be reproduced step by step?

And if ChatGPT found an error in the code, please specify which file and line number, and what the solution is.

How can I provide you a test case? I don’t like to share my info here on the public forum.

Let’s start with the easiest part. The code is publicly available on the WordPress site, so you can freely indicate where you found a bug with ChatGPT and how you resolved it.

A reproducible test case is simply described by installing Fast Events on a fresh WordPress environment, then describing your event and ticket configuration along with the subsequent actions that result in orders disappearing. This way, others can “reproduce” the issue you found and look for a solution.

    So for example:

    1. Create an event “AAAA” with start date “xxxx” and end date “yyyy” as a single select event
    2. Create a ticket type “ZZZZ” that costs “SSS”,
    3. Create a dashboard order with ticket “ZZZZ” …. etc.

There’s nothing private about this at all.
