variable pannellum is not defined

    I installed Version 8.5.70
    I don’t know since when, probably after an update I can’t see any of my 360 photos anymore.
    The error that appears refers to the pannellum variable that is undefined.

    Only if I use the WPVR WordPress module, while if I use the Shortcodes it works. But I wouldn’t want to change all the pages…

    Hi @alecle,

    Thanks for reporting this so clearly. I’ve checked your site, and this helps a lot.

    After inspecting your website, I can see that you’re using Divi. I also tested this on our end, and we were able to reproduce the same issue.What’s happening

    There’s currently a compatibility issue with the WP VR Divi module, which is causing the pannellum is not defined error.
    That’s why:

    • The Divi module → not working
    • The Shortcode → working correctly

    Current status:

    We’ve already identified and reported this issue internally, and our team is working on a fix. It should be included in an upcoming update soon.

    Temporary workaround:

    For now, I’d recommend using the shortcode method to display your tours. I understand it’s not ideal to change existing pages, but this will ensure everything works properly until the fix is released.

    Thanks a lot for your patience and for sticking with us while we worked on this.

    The issue you reported, the “pannellum is not defined” error, causing 360° tours not to load when using the WP VR module (while shortcodes were still working), has now been fixed. Hello actor tell me

    The fix has been included in the latest release:

    WP VR (Free) 8.5.71 — Released: 2026-05-07

    • Bug Fix: Tour not rendering issue on Elementor, DIVI, and Oxygen

    You can safely update the plugin directly from your WordPress dashboard (or download it from WordPress.org if needed), then clear cache and recheck your tour pages.

    Once you’ve had a chance to test it, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your feedback, just to make sure everything is running smoothly on your end now.

    Hi @itamannaa !

    I’ve the same issue in my site. I’m stuck in version 8.5.64 because when I update to version 8.5.71 I get the error “Uncaught ReferenceError: pannellum is not defined at HTMLDocument” and no panorama image is shown. I’m not using DIVI, but AVADA Builder. You can use Chrome Devtools see the error in my staging site:
