Can’t add events

    I’ve disabled every plugin, refreshed permalinks and switched the theme to Twenty Twenty Five

    Reinstalled the plugin too

    I’ve lost my add an event option and the admin /settings screen formatting is broken

    Thanks. I did solve it. I cleared transients and it just suddenly came back to life. Plugins, themes all enabled again. Works fine. A really odd issue I’ve never encountered before

    Hello

    I’ve just hit the same issue, but clearing transients/database cleanup hasn’t resolved.

    Issue(s) presenting as:
    Settings page has lost all formatting
    “Add Event” option missing
    Events > Set Up Guide > Add New Event shows “You need a higher level of permission. Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user.”

    switch your theme and turn all.plugins off, clear transients. See it all comes back then turn it all back on again. That’s how I did it
