Hi @heartbreakkid58,
Thanks for reaching out. When importing Elementor-built pages, please make sure that you do not map the “Post Content” (the_content) field during the mapping step. Elementor stores its layout data in the _elementor_* custom fields, and mapping the regular Post Content field can cause the raw JSON structure to appear as broken text in the editor.
After completing the import, please go to: Elementor → Tools → Regenerate CSS & Data. Click Regenerate Files & Data to rebuild Elementor’s CSS and JS assets on the new site. This usually resolves layout rendering issues after migration. Regarding SVG images, please ensure that SVG upload support is enabled on the destination site, as WordPress blocks SVG uploads by default unless explicitly allowed. Let us know if the issue persists after trying the above steps, and we’ll be happy to guide you further.
Just following up to check if you had a chance to try the suggested steps.
In particular:
- Avoid mapping the Post Content (the_content) field during import.
- Regenerate files via Elementor → Tools → Regenerate CSS & Data after migration.
We want to make sure everything is working correctly on your end. If you’re still facing any issues, let me know. We’ll be glad to assist further.
Looking forward to your update.
