    I have a test environment (xampp) with a fresh wordpress installation.

    To test the Event Calender I have created some categories with different background and different font colors

    Background colors are displayed as expected, but font color is allways black (not readable on a dark blue background.

    I have tested this with different themes, but doesn’t work as expected

    Thank you for reaching out.

    To be clear, are you referring to the Event Category Colors functionality of The Events Calendar here? Would you be able to share some illustrated screenshots or screen recordings of the issue? Please do not share any credentials for us to adhere to the WordPress Forum Guidelines.

    Hi @vbueschken ,

    You are welcome. I’m glad that we were able to help you so far.

    As a temporary workaround, navigate to Appearances → Customize → Additional CSS and insert this custom CSS there:

    .tribe-events .tribe-events-calendar-month__multiday-event-bar .tribe-events-calendar-month__multiday-event-bar-inner {
    --tec-color-text-events-title-month-multiday: var(--tec-color-category-text, var(--tec-color-text-primary));
    }
