Hi there,
We’re currently evaluating The Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus for a project for a Dutch community foundation.
They organize a large number of activities – from one-off workshops to recurring weekly sports sessions – and need a flexible ticketing setup that integrates with WooCommerce and Mollie payments.
Before purchasing, we’d like to confirm a few functional details:
- Recurring Events: Can we create recurring events (e.g., a weekly sports class) where each occurrence generates its own ticket inventory and attendee list?
- Subscriptions / Automatic Payments: We’d like to offer participants the option to pay through automatic SEPA direct debit (via Mollie + WooCommerce Subscriptions). Is this payment flow supported when using Event Tickets Plus, or are there any known limitations with WooCommerce Subscriptions?
- Multi-Pass / “Strippenkaart” System: Some participants should be able to purchase a 5-visit pass and check in for up to five separate events. Is there a recommended way to handle this scenario within your ticketing framework (e.g., via existing add-ons or custom fields/hooks)?
- Offline Registrations: Can staff members manually add attendees for in-person registrations (e.g., seniors who register at the reception desk)?
Our goal is to implement a unified activities and ticketing system that can later be expanded into a full membership environment.
We’d appreciate any guidance or best-practice recommendations regarding these use cases before moving forward with licensing.
