    Greetings.

    I wrote before about transfering my old shopping site from shop.domain.com to http://www.domain.com and I was told to write back for assistance in migrating the client website and product reviews from the old subdomain to the new root domain.

    The products on the new root domain website show the star ratings, given to the products on the old subdomain website. However, the store rating is not displaying ratings / reviews (rightfully so as the domain is not linked). I am worried if I disconnect the old subdomain and reconnect to the new root domain, I will lose the stars earned for the old subdomain.

    Can you assist with converting these ratings to the new root domain?

    PS – removing the “shop”. subdomain from any product page url will bring you to the new root site, same product’s updated page (with a few rare exceptions where a product might had been changed for seo reasons)

    Thanks for using CusRev.

    However, the store rating is not displaying ratings/reviews

    Can you please share a screenshot of this issue? Do you mean the store rating in the Trust Badge?
    Setting the redirection from the old to the new domain won’t affect the number of store ratings or their display.
