The Display/Maps section says The Events Calendar comes with a default API key for basic maps functionality…

Nothing displays for me after adding a venue/address and selecting the map and link option in the event. Is there another setting somewhere? I’m using Avada and I have the map enabled. I didn’t set up an API because it says it’s not needed.

Thank you for reaching out.

The map should display, provided that you’re using The Events Calendar’s default event template. Does your single event page look similar to our demo page — https://demo.theeventscalendar.com/event/hosted-dinner-with-chef-monica-geller/? Also, do you have your venues populated with the full address and the latitude + longitude (see https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cT63oJnbmOB)?

All of that is set. I imported some events from a local install and it looks like that’s my issue. I deleted one and re-added it and now it works. Thanks!
