    I am seeing this error on my site yet the access key is correct!

    Scheduled: send_firewall_logs: “Failed to retry API request”
    2025-09-05 10:53:22: Scheduled: access_key_notices: “API error – Failed to retry API request”
    2025-09-05 10:27:31: Sending security logs: “Failed to retry API request”
    2025-09-05 10:53:22: Access key validating: “Access Key validation failed: API error – Failed to retry API request”

    Thank you for your report. The error messages you see usually mean the plugin can’t reach our servers. Please check the following on your server:

    ・ Outbound HTTPS requests to https://moderate.cleantalk.org must be allowed (port 443 open).
    ・ PHP options CURL support and allow_url_fopen should be enabled.
    ・ No firewall, CDN, or security software should block connections from your site to our API.

    If the issue persists after these checks, please let us know — we can investigate further from our side.

    It is not happening on all the sites on the server. Only the site farnhamscouting.com

    Could you try contacting your hosting support? Can they check the following:

    ・ Outbound HTTPS requests to https://moderate.cleantalk.org must be allowed (port 443 open).
