I’m trying to create a single product page template in Elementor, and I place the default short code on the page, but when I view the product, there’s no rating displayed:
    [cusrev_reviews_rating color_stars=”#FFBC00″ product=””]

The grid shortcode does display correctly on the page, and shows reviews for the currently displayed product.

    Thank you for reaching out!

It could be that you are adding the shortcode outside of the product area in Elementor, so that it is rendered before the product ID is provided by WooCommerce. Could you share a screenshot of the page in the edit mode of Elementor illustrating a placement of the shortcode?

I don’t have access to a screenshot right now, but just picture the standard woocommerce product page where you have the product photo on the left. The product title on the right, followed by the add to cart. In that same general area, is where you see the star rating and number of reviews for a product.

Butt you also see it on the product archives. It’s also not working there as well, in my Elementor product archive template.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

Can you please share the page URL where I can see the issue? Also, the rating shortcode [cusrev_reviews_rating] is only working on the single product page. It doesn’t work on the archive product page.

Here, it (should) appear between the title and the price: https://robertconti.com/product/chord-melody-assembly-line/

That short code should ideally work on both product archives and single product page, just like the normal woocommerce ratings does.

I’ve solved the problem. I clicked on the Diagnostics page as I was trying to address something else and under WooCommerce Reviews, it says Product ratings will not be displayed because WooCommerce product reviews are disabled” After I enabled the reviews setting in Woo, the rating shortcode works.

I notice it puts the reviews in the product tab, and it shows them in list format. I’d like to be able to show them in the grid format. Is that possible?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

If you want to show reviews in a grid layout, you can use the reviews grid shortcode [cusrev_reviews_grid]. Please go to Reviews > Settings > Shortcodes tab, to get more details.
