Hello, I am trying to create a date selection field (datepicker, for example) that allows me to set a limit so that the first day of the next month is displayed as the start date. I can’t find a solution. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi @jibsoux ,

    I hope you’re doing well.

Under the datepicker field limits option you can select Today and set an offset of 1 month – https://monosnap.com/file/nyvKUHFDeJjfrv4bb3xmq0lklLg6wp

Could you please confirm if this helps? You can also see more info here – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#datepicker-limits

I hope to hear back from you soon.
    Best Regards,

Unfortunately, I have already tried this method, but as expected, it sets the start date to August 30. What I want is for the default start date to be the first day of the next month, in this case August 1, since we are currently in July.

    Hello @jibsoux

    Hope you’re doing well today!

If I am understanding this correctly, you wish to have the start date on the form irrespective of “Today’s Date”, and it should always be the first day of the next month, which will be based on the current date. Can you please confirm?

For example, Today is 30th July, the Start Date would be August 1st. And let’s say if a visitor views the form on 1st August, they’ll see September 1st as the start date?

In case if you are trying to achieve something like above, I am afraid it will not be possible out of the box in Forminator. However, would it be possible for you to explain a bit more about what you are trying to achieve with the form so we can check for suitable workarounds?

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

That’s exactly what I want to do, but the limit setting is a bit rigid and doesn’t allow me to do that directly. it just need to have (next month limit)

    Hello @jibsoux,

I hope things are going well for you.

I tried checking in the Forminator’s form field settings. Unfortunately, there is currently no direct way to achieve this.

Another option to achieve your goal is through Custom Coding. However, this is likely beyond the support we offer here. You will need to hire a developer to create the required custom code. WordPress has a jobs directory available at: https://jobs.wordpress.net/.
