    The plugin has been working without issues and suddenly I’m receiving errors:

    2025-07-14 16:27:30: Scheduled: send_firewall_logs: “Failed to retry API request”2025-07-14 16:27:43: Scheduled: access_key_notices: “API error – Failed to retry API request”2025-07-14 16:17:04: Sending security logs: “Failed to retry API request”2025-07-14 16:27:43: Access key validating: “Access Key validation failed: API error – Failed to retry API request”

    The access key has not changed and it’s the correct one. When I resave it in General setting the notification goes away but it pops up later in the day.

    Hello,

    Please try to press the ‘Synchronize with Cloud’ button here:

    WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Security by Cleantalk

    Thank you for reply. I have done so, and even updated to the latest plugin version that came out today and the error still pops up.

    Perhaps something is blocking connections that the CleanTalk plugin is trying to establish with the CleanTalk Cloud?

    Please, add our IPs to your hosting firewall:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/cleantalk-servers-ip-addresses

    Then re-activate the plugin:
    • WordPress Admin Page → Plugins → Installed plugins → Security by CleanTalk → Deactivate and Activate again

    And then clear your website cache. It should fix the issue. Did it help you?

    Hi, No, unfortunately, I am still receiving the error, even though the plugin seems to be working:
