I’m experiencing issues with Gutenberg. Error message: “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” When I deactivate Gutenberg, everything works. When I reactivate Gutenberg, I’m unable to edit.

Is this issue related to compatibility with Jetpack?

    Hi there, @cherrylb,

I tried to replicate the issue, but the plugin worked well on my test site with Jetpack activated. It is possible that it could be clashing with a plugin you have active on your site, and I don’t have on mine.

Can you please temporarily deactivate all your plugins and check if the problem gets fixed that way? If it works, then reactivate each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing problems.

To figure out if there is a clash with Jetpack, you need to keep activated only Gutenberg and Jetpack, and see if the issue occurs this way. You can then double-check if the issue is within the Gutenberg plugin itself by keeping it only active, and see if the editor returns errors. In that case, you need to contact the plugin support directly.

Hope that helps! Let us know what you find out 🙂

    Hi there, @cherrylb,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
