    Hi strange

I’ve been using the ocean wp theme for years now and they don’t have any explication for this strange issue. So I ask here!

If I activate “Ticket Commerce” I don’t have access to the customizer anymore – the critical error message is displayed. If I deactivate it – everything is fine again.

    Ciao

    Hans

    Hi @vanbrel

I’m glad you reached out. Let me help you resolve this issue.

Could you enable debugging from your WP site, replicate the issue again, and share the error message here? This should generate a more detailed error message that we can check and troubleshoot further.

Also, it’s possible that there’s a conflict between one of your plugins/themes. To check this, could run a conflict test by activating only our plugins together with a default theme like Twenty Twenty One, and check if that resolves the issue? If it does, try to reactivate your plugins/theme one at a time and check which one is causing the issue.

As always, please do these tests on a staging version of your website. Additionally, please ensure that you have the most recent version of the plugin installed.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi

I set debug to true and I got this message in the frontend:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1855488 bytes) in /data/web/1/000/119/547/467033/htdocs/pot-spot/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-manager.php on line 5026

In the backend I get this message:

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the event-tickets domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /data/web/1/000/119/547/467033/htdocs/pot-spot/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114

switching to a standard them didn’t change anything

    Ciao

    Hi @vanbrel ,

Thank you for your message and the information.

Regrettably, I have not been able to reproduce the issue in my testing environment running only The Events Calendar/Event Tickets plugins and the twenty-twenty-one theme.

I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme (preferably the twenty-twenty-one theme)

Please read the Testing for Conflicts Article before doing anything.

To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

    Hi

looks like I’ve found the conflict; As the site is using woocommerce there is a Stripe payment plugin installed and activated; as soon as the woo stripe plugin and your ticket-commerce plugin are both activated I cannot access the customizer.

As soon as I deactivate either the woo plugin or ticket-commerce it works. It looks like I have the choice to use Stripe for woocommerce or for ticke-commerce. Hard choice!

By the way: This message :

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the event-tickets domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. still appears. I guess this has nothing to do with the payment plugins.

    Hi @vanbrel ,

Thank you for your message and the information.

I am unsure as to why a conflict exists between Event Tickets plugin and your Woo Stripe plugin, as I have not been able to reproduce the issue in my testing environment using the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin, WooCommerce plugin, Event Tickets plugin, and the twenty-twenty-one theme. Does the issue persist if you use the twenty-twenty-one theme?

As for the _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly notice, our products team is aware of this notice and is actively working on a fix. I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this notice will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

If you do have other concerns or issues you need help with, please create another thread, as it helps us track different issues.

Again, thank you for your patience.

    Hi

I guess the problem was resolved by checking the payments connection; a bug in the paypal-API caused the conflict. when this was repaired I could go back to the customizer.

    Strange

but Thanks and I guess we can close this topic.
