missing many links in analytics
-
Hi,
I have 19 BetterLinks defined but when I view Analytics, it is showing only 7. I have used the Refresh Stats button but it makes no difference.
I noticed something like this a while ago when it was missing a few. Now its missing a lot. Thanks for any help

Hey @flatword
Thank you for reaching out! I understand how concerning it can be to see a discrepancy in the analytics data, and I’m here to help resolve this.
The issue you’re describing could potentially be related to caching, specifically object caching & page caching. Caching can sometimes interfere with how analytics data is processed or displayed.
To troubleshoot this, could you please try the following steps?
- Purge Your Cache:
- Clear your object cache and page cache to ensure there’s no stale data interfering with the analytics.
- Temporarily Disable Caching:
- Disable object caching and page caching temporarily. Once disabled, use the Refresh Stats button again to see if the analytics data updates correctly.
- Recheck Analytics:
- After clearing and disabling the cache, revisit the analytics section and verify if the missing data appears.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, let me know. We can dig deeper and investigate further for a resolution. Also, if you’re using any specific caching plugins or server-level caching (e.g., Memcached, Redis), feel free to share those details—they can provide additional context.
Looking forward to your update!
Best regards,

Have a nice day!
Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
So it’s been long enough now that any caches should be cleared. Plus I cleared all page cache, mem cache, and dynamic cache. Refreshing analytics still shows only 7 of the 19 links I have.
Hello @flatword
Thanks for the update! To help us resolve the issue more effectively, could you share a full video showing the steps you’re taking? This will allow us to see exactly what’s happening and provide more accurate guidance.Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Best regards
Hi,
To go through all the steps I took on video in my host and the site might compromise some personal info if I am not careful.
What I can say is that after clearing all the cache in my site host and on the page itself and refreshing the links stats, I still have analytics showing only 7 of the 19 links I have.
And I am also noticing that the stats shown in the Manage Links for each link are not close to the stats in the Analytics. Shouldn’t those numbers be the same for a given link?

Hello there,
Can you please make sure to apply the Date Filter like this :https://d.pr/v/o0Slb6
And see if the issue resolved or not. If you are still facing the issue Can you please share the video directly to use by following the steps here : https://d.pr/v/xDNzA4
Hope it helps
ThanksAha! So it was that simple after all this back and forth. 🙂 With a bigger date range, I can see all 19 links in the analytics. Thank you.
I didn’t realize there was an active date filter and that it is always working. The visual appearance of it, which is a very light color, makes it appear as if it is not active. Also, I always scroll right past that section because I want to see the table at the bottom. So I don’t even see the date filter.
Perhaps the date filter could also be displayed on the bottom chart section near the “search” box?
Thanks again…
Hello @flatword
You’re welcome! I’m really glad to hear that extending the date range solved it for you. 😊Thanks for sharing your feedback about the date filter. I can see how its subtle appearance and placement might make it easy to overlook, especially when you’re focused on the data table. Adding the filter near the bottom section sounds like an interesting idea—it could definitely make it more accessible for users like you.
I’ll share this suggestion with the team for consideration. If there’s anything else you’d like to add or other feedback you have, feel free to let me know!
Best regards,
