Close Elementor Popup after Form Submission

    hello,

    I have a contact form 7 form shorcode in an elementor popup. After submission of the form I want the elementor popup to close, but it does not. The “Thank you for your message. It has been sent.” alert comes up under the form but the popup doesnt close.

    How can i make this happen? Basically i just want the popup to close similar to how is possible on submit with an elementor form within a popup…..

    I have the opposite, a contact form 7 shortcode in the elementor popup. but after submitting (either complete or incomplete), the popup closes. Elementor says I should ask Contact form 7 about this, since their own form does not close after pressing submit (but I don’t want to use their form). edit: apologies for breaking into your topic, but it seems kind of a similar issue, only reversed?

    it would seem that the form is not submitting with ajax because it is in a popup. What is the current fix for ajax to work when the form is within another element (like an Elementor popup) that also uses ajax? I found old solutions that dont seem to work anymore.

    @itinus no worries, sorry you are having a similar but reversed issue….. i really just want the popup to close once the form is submitted and hope there is an easy fix for this. hope you get your issue sorted too!

    I don’t know how to fix it.
