Inconsistent Data Returned

    I am using the same events block on two different pages and the fixtures are being displayed in a different order on the two pages;

    This page displays correctly – https://binfieldfc.com/test/
    Whereas on this page, the sort order is reversed – https://binfieldfc.com/

    They are both using this block;

    [event_blocks number=”5″ status=”future” show_all_events_link = “1” paginated=”0″ order=”ASC” ]

    Any ideas?

    Hi there @lensdigital ,

    Are you sure you are using the exact same shortcode on both pages? For example on the “test” page I cannot see the “Show All Events” link, while on the homepage is there.

    Yep, that is just a separate button that links through to another page.

    The Test page just uses the shortcode in isolation. There is nothing else on that page. Whereas the homepage shows the shortcode how it is planned to be used.

    Can you provide with some screenshots of how you are implementing it at Test page and Homepage?

    Please make sure to use the “id” attribute also like below:

    [event_blocks id="XXXX" number="5" status="future" show_all_events_link = "1" paginated="0" order="ASC" ]

    Where XXXX should be your calendar ID.

    I have added the calendar ID and that hasn’t changed anything.

    Attached is a screenshot of the implementation of the shortcode on the homepage. Interestingly (!), it is displayed correctly when I am logged into the WordPress editor but not when viewed outside of the editor.

    You will need to clear your cache then.

    I have flushed the cache and turned caching off – the problem is still there

    Next think to try is to disable all your plugins except SportsPress and switch to a default theme like “TwentyTwenty”. After clearing your cache, check if there is still the same issue. If everything is working as it should, then try to switch to your theme and check again. Then try to enable your plugins one by one until you identify what is causing this odd behaviour.

    It is a clash with this plugin – https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-post-kit/ which is a bit worrying as it is the main plugin I use for posts on the home page.

    Hi there @lensdigital ,

    Please try to come in contact with this plugin’s support team. For some reason it seams like it is altering the behaviour of SportsPress shortcodes output.
