“You do not have sufficient permissions” when activating site
-
Hi,
I’m having trouble with the Forminator form. I have this form that allows the visitor of my site to register a username on the site. I have these option on the “User Registration” settings inside the form:
A user will then receive an email to click on a link where they can activate their account.
however when i tried it using a logged out account using another email I have, the activation link says “You do not have sufficient permissions.”
is there any setting that i missed inside the Forminator setting? Thanks

Hello @kemalkautsar !
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue!
From what it seems on the screenshot itself, the settings are correct, however there could be much more to this issue than this setting.
Some questions:
- are you using any plugin for editing user roles and permissions? Is the form set up to create an user with a custom role?
- is the Activate Account page accessible to non-logged in visitors normally?
- would you be able to share if there’s any error code in the Dev Tools of your browser when accessing the page? To do this, right click on the page with the error, choose Inspect, switch to Network tab and refresh, see if there’s anything there in Red and after clicking on it, please share the Headers tab screenshot
- have you tried running a plugin conflict test?
Kind regards,
Paweł

No, I have deactivate it and see whether it affect the registration process…. still having the Permissions error - is the Activate Account page accessible to non-logged in visitors normally?

yes
I hope you are doing well.
Let’s start from the fatal error so it can point us in a direction, could you repeat the process but this time with the debug mode enabled https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/ then check the wp-content > debug.log file?
You can upload it on Google drive and share the link
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasHi Patrick,
Yes, Okay.
this project we have a Forminator Pro plugin though. Is it preferable to do it via the Forminator Pro support so you can see it from inside out?Hi @kemalkautsar,

Sure, please create a support ticket as instructed below for Pro version. This forum is only for the free version.

ZaferZafer, Hi!
Yes my team and I already talk with Adam via the Pro support version, I have replied to his direction there too and waiting for an answer at the moment.
I will close this thread now.
