I keep getting emails that the malware scanner has found critical files. No matter how many times I “approve” the file, it keeps complaining. It won’t let me send the file in for analysis because “Hash: denied”.
The file appears to be just fine. How do I stop this?
Seems like the plugin can not send data to the Cloud about the file. I don’t see any criticals in your Scanner Logs here: https://cleantalk.org/my/logs_mscan
Please, approve the file again and then press the button “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings. Do you see any errors after doing so?
I approved the file, sync’d with cloud and then ran the malware scanner again. Same thing, the file is flagged as critical. I have a screenshot, but can’t put it in this message.
I just looked at the scanner logs on cleantalk.org, and it shows 5 files as failed. It’s one of the files in that list that is flagged as critical on the site.
These files may not contain malicious code but they use very dangerous PHP functions and constructions! PHP developers don’t recommend to use such code. Besides, it looks very suspicious. Critical Files: 4
Some files have been sent to the cloud for verification. The result of the check can be viewed in Dashboard
