    Hello,

I post my question here for the forum.

I have assigned the roles “edit_oum-locations”, “edit_published_oum-locations” and “delete_oum-locations” to allow users to edit and delete their locations. However I do not know how it happens on the map, on the front-end. Once the roles are assigned, how do users change or delete a location they created? Is there a button to do that ? Maybe on single page ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nicolas

    Hi @nmerlier,

Editing locations needs to be done via the WordPress Dashboard.

So, users with this privileges will see the “OUM Locations” menu (with their listed locations) in their WordPress dashboard after logging in.

    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

    Thanks for your response.

I will find a way to set up post editing and removal in the front-end with php code. I can integrate buttons and make the functions.
I will integrate these buttons in the single page (the page that opens when clicking on “read more”)
Do you confirm that it is in the single.php of my theme that I can do this?

    Thanks again for your help

    Hi @nmerlier,

The single.php file is very likely involved. It depends on the template structure of your theme. But by default WordPress looks at the single.php file first.

Here is a support article that should get you started.

    Best regards,
    Daniel
