    Hi there,

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing an issue with pagination using the DIVI template.

I’ve come across information stating that it’s a problem with the Yoast plugin. The issue is that the pagination adds the parameter “?et_blog” to the URL, and the canonical URL specified is the main blog URL.

What I’m looking to do is remove the parameter from the pagination and have each pagination URL self-reference as canonical. Could you assist me with this? Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello @marsawp

Thanks for reaching out about your pagination URLs. If I understand correctly, your blog is a paginated archive and navigating to other pages, a parameter blog/page/3/?et_blog is added to the URL.

I am unsure what you have is a true paginated series, as the rel=”next” and rel=”prev” attributes are missing. Also, the parameter is added by Divi (Elegant themes) – et_blog.

Can you temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme and check your canonical tag and the rel=”next” and rel=”prev” attributes?

Do let me know how it goes.
