Google_Product_Category not showing when mapped

Hi,
I have been using product feed pro for my google shopping feed for several years with no problems. I am now trying to update my feed to include several new fields, including Google_Product_Category with category mapping. When I select “category” as the value and use the mapping feature, Google_Product_Category doesn’t show up in my feed, but when I select “category path” it appears as expected. What am I missing? do I need to map every category shown in order for this feature to work, or maybe this is a pro feature (I have the free version)? I’m not exactly sure what the check boxes at left do. Perhaps I’m missing something there.
Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

The plugin will put in Google’s category taxonomy ID.

Hello and thanks for your response! I have mapped exactly as instructed and category taxonomy id is showing on only about 15% of the products in my feed. It seems like certain ids are getting through, chairs for example, and others never are. Is this something y’all are currently working on improving? If so I’m fine to let it ride, as the feed is mostly satisfactory. But if there’s anything further I can do to troubleshoot, I’d like to. Also is it possible that results will be more consistent as new products flow through the system? I sell vintage furniture, so all items are unique and my feed changes weekly.
