Help with image slider placement

Hi,
I have recently purchased Rookie Plus and having trouble placing the image slider correctly. Page has right sidebar enabled but the image slider doesn’t extend out full width. Should be over the sidebar if that makes sense.
It has been added as a shortcode widget in the Homepage section. I am thinking it should be somewhere else.
