We have seen this problem in the past caused by a a browser extension or a feature with some browsers that restrict AMP URLs, such as a setting within the Brave browser. If AMP URLs are blocked it’s normal that this error appears, with AMP currently used during Site Kit set up. We have more details on this specific error on Site Kit plugin website.
In order to resolve this, if you are using the Brave browser, can you switch this setting off (details) to complete Site Kit setup or can you attempt set up from another browser?
