    Hi @davetune

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. This error usually appears when the sitemap contains zero items. To solve this, you should create content for the sitemap. However, if you know you have made content, you should clear/flush your cache from your website, plugins, theme, server, etc

If the issue persists, kindly share a full-page screenshot of Google Search Console containing the sitemap URL, or else kindly share the URL with us to check this further.

    Hi Jose,

as you can see the sitemap is filled: https://zweiherzen-hochzeitsfilme.de/page-sitemap.xml

I cleared the cache from website and server. 🙂

    Hi @davetune ,

Thanks for sharing the sitemap URL. When I checked the sitemap, I confirmed it’s loading without any issues/errors.

So, in this case, we recommend resubmitting your sitemap to Google Search Console by following the below steps.

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, and CDN like Cloudflare or browser. If you are unsure how to clear the cache from the theme/plugin, please speak to those authors. If you want to clear the cache from the server, please speak to your host provider.

    2. Delete your sitemaps that are already within the Google Search Console. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. You can follow the help article to remove and resubmit the sitemap.

    3. Then submit the sitemap again. Be sure to submit only /sitemap_index.xml and nothing else. As the /sitemap_index.xml contains the sub-sitemaps for posts and pages, etc Google will read the sub-sitemap without any issues. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

Just so you know, it can take some time for Google to read the sitemaps, so we recommend you wait for a bit after submitting the sitemap. Also, keep in mind that Google Search Console reports are not real-time. So please allow Google a few days to update the information.

We hope this will help you.
