Hi all, hope you are enjoying your weekends.

I looked at my clients website this morning only to discover it’s down. I haven’t touched it for a couple of weeks, so no plug-in upgrade conflict etc. it’s a coming soon page and now only displays a logo and spinning wheel. (Verde Minimal Coming Soon Plug-in which has always worked well.) I’ve tried deactivating it, clearing the cache, but still nothing. I’ve even tried another coming soon plug-in but the same fault remains. I obviously still have access to the backend, and it even states that the sites health is good. It’s a bit of a head scratcher tbh.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance, Sanct.

This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thank you for your response James, it’s really appreciated. The weird thing is the site broke without any updates. I’ve tried switching off all plugins and the only one that throws the fault is the actual Verde Coming Soon one. Not sure why this would happen unless the developer hasn’t kept the plug-in up to date with the latest version of WordPress. Any further input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊👍

Since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: http://www.creabox.es/forum/verde-wp/

Forum volunteers do not have access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working correctly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you, but your best bet is your product’s developer. We encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
