Products not Syncing

We have an error syncing the products. The products have been succesfully uploaded to facebook, but when we make changes from our wordpress site (for example price, images etc) the products remain unchanged to facebook.

Also it keeps saying this to all of our products “This product is not yet synced to Facebook.” However when we create a new product to our wordpress site, the product is also uploaded correclty to Facebook.

Hi,

To start checking into this, can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? It is under WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

And please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any).

Dear @xue28 thanks a lot for your advice!

I’ ve done all of the above except for the update of WP version, which cannot be done yet, since we have plugins that aren’t still checked to the latest WP version.

Unfortunately the products still don’t sync correctly. Actually now it doesn’t sync the pictures of the products.

Please navigate to WooCommerce > status > scheduled actions > pending, and try to manually run the pending actions. Give it a while for them to process correctly.

Then you can perform a catalog sync to see if that helps:

Hello @mixalisdram,

Could you please enable logging, repeat the steps to replicate the issue like updating a product, and then share the log for us to review? To do so, please follow the below steps:
1. Head to Marketing > Facebook.
2. Enable debug mode at the bottom of the screen and save the settings.
3. Repeat the steps to replicate the error.
4. Head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
5. Choose the Facebook log from the dropdown and click the “View” button to display the log. Please note that the log may be in UTC/GMT time, so it may be offset by a few hours.
6. Copy and paste the log into a Gist and share the resulting link. You can also paste the logs directly in your reply.

@ihereira the solution from that thread seems to work for changes in price etc. The pictures from the products still don’t sync as we’d like. The info that is after the ? is a parameter, can you please describe the issue with the product image? Is this about the parameter?

@ihereira When we go to commerce manager all the products have the right thumbnail but when you click the product it shows the default picture from fb (like it doesn’t have a picture). Should we make a new catalogue and resync the products again??

Hi,

I understand what you are saying, this is odd.

To reset all the products, you can use the code snippet that is explained in this section: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce-delete-or-reset-all-facebook-products/#reset-all-products

You will want to add that code into your functions.php file, or you can upload the code using the Code Snippets plugin.

@ihereira Instead of putting the code, isn’t it the same to do it from the plugin (from status logs –> reset products)??

Also do you mean to put the code (functions.php) to the facebook plugin or to the theme of our website?
